Sienna reinitiated exploration at Igor in late 2009 with a drill campaign of 2500 meters (m). This was designed to further delineate near surface oxide gold mineralization at Callanquitas and test possible porphyry mineralization.
Through 2010 new access roads and drill platforms were built and the field camp was relocated and improved. Geological mapping and sampling were undertaken and the results were important in refining the initial 2500 m drill program, which started in late November 2010.
The original five drill hole campaign was completed in early March 2011, but encouraging results and a reinterpretation of the geological model led to the addition of three drill holes. The extended campaign finished in early May 2011 with a total of 4235.3 m of diamond drilling.
The Callanquitas drill campaign was highly successful. It defined a main structure approximately 20-50 m wide, 900 m long, and extending from surface to depths of 200-300 m. The mineralization is open to the north, south and at depth. This structure is one of several north-south trending mineralized structures at Callanquitas.
The most important intercepts in the Callanquitas structure are shown in the table below (Collar data and all significant mineralized intervals can be found in the Technical Information section).

The company plans further mapping and sampling at Callanquitas and the recently acquired La Busqueda concession.
A new 15 000 m drill campaign is planned for November 2011. Ten thousand meters are destined for resource definition and step-out exploration at Callanquitas. The remaining 5000 m will further define the existing resources at Domo and Tesoros.
